Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute HIL test cases based on system and software requirements
  • Build, configure, and maintain HIL test benches using dSPACE (SCALEXIO, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk) and OPAL-RT
  • Develop and maintain automated HIL test scripts using Python
  • Perform functional, system-level, regression, and diagnostics testing on embedded controllers
  • Validate ECUs such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), Inverters, Engine Controllers, Body Control Modules, and Power Generation Controllers
  • Integrate plant models using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow for closed-loop testing
  • Execute CAN, LIN, and J1939 communication testing using Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, and support root cause analysis in collaboration with development teams
  • Log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools
  • Perform risk-based testing and support software release and validation sign-off
  • Prepare and maintain HIL test reports, Software Validation Reports (SVR), and technical documentation
