Technical responsibilities include:
- Under the direction and guidance of Client, lead engineering work related to management of Vehicle Programs.
- Create and manage electrical bills of material for all HIL test properties, including the coordination of material procurement through the Client wiring team.
- Lead the coordination of soft ECU integration, automotive platform parameterization (dSPACE ASM), IO configuration, BUS simulation, etc.
- Management of HIL updates to support planned validations loops that include model, communication databases, hardware, complexity, variants verifications, etc.
- Lead HIL configuration testing planned vehicle configurations / permutations of varying complexity.
- Lead lab Vehicle HIL Integrations that include:
- Vehicle parts, PC setup, licenses, etc.
- HIL Simulation open/closed loop commissioning
- Lead Test property Functional Test and Control Desk Functional Checkouts prior HIL delivery
Technical Skills:
- College degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering
- Experience with HIL systems in any area of HIL Hardware/Modeling and simulation.
- Computer skills (C, Python, MS and relevant dSPACE) hardware/software and tools environment.
- Experience in Automotive Vehicle Networks and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) including diagnostic/communication tools and associated documentation (DBC, LDFs, ARXMLs)
- Knowledge of Vehicle EE system Integrations and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Vehicle ECU interaction / interface.
- Experience with electrical measurement / analysis tools (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, CAN/LIN analyzer)
- Proficient in EE System modeling, simulation framework, panel creation etc.
Soft skills such as:
- Ability to interface well collaborating with internal / external team members.
- Work independently exhibiting the ability to prioritize accordingly to achieve deadlines.
- Ability to multitask many assignments and coordinate multiple tests.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience in leading projects and leading teams. pport and interface with the EE lab and external suppliers to deliver lab vehicles according to plan.
