Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the detailed design High voltage Junction box, module to HVJB, signal routing and connection and high voltage current routing from modules to vehicle interface.
- Definition of position and type of connections, signal routing, internal interfaces.
- Alignment of vehicle interface position and type of electrical interfaces.
- Definition of requirements to the individual components.
- Compliance to creeping distance and clearance requirements.
- Expected outputs are 3D designs, 2D drawings for sample production, specification development, creeping distance and clearance analysis, component specification and fulfillment.
- FMEA with failure modes and assessment.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Engineering.
- Experience in:
- Automotive engineering
- High voltage battery design
- Creeping distance and clearance
- EMC requirements
- Corrosion
- Experience in manufacturing and serviceability
Salary:
- $115,000-135,000
- The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
