Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the detailed design High voltage Junction box, module to HVJB, signal routing and connection and high voltage current routing from modules to vehicle interface.
  • Definition of position and type of connections, signal routing, internal interfaces.
  • Alignment of vehicle interface position and type of electrical interfaces.
  • Definition of requirements to the individual components.
  • Compliance to creeping distance and clearance requirements.
  • Expected outputs are 3D designs, 2D drawings for sample production, specification development, creeping distance and clearance analysis, component specification and fulfillment.
  • FMEA with failure modes and assessment.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in:
    • Automotive engineering
    • High voltage battery design
    • Creeping distance and clearance
    • EMC requirements
    • Corrosion
    • Experience in manufacturing and serviceability

 

Salary:

  • $115,000-135,000
  • The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
