Job Title: High School Math Teacher (Morning Shift)

Your Role and Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, rigorous math instruction aligned with state standards and best practices.
- Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that motivates students to excel.
- Differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs and learning styles.
- Utilize data to inform instruction and support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to continuously refine instructional practices.
- Maintain positive communication with students, families, and staff to support student success.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics or equivalent qualification.
- Commitment to the full-time morning shift. (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Experience teaching high school mathematics preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage diverse learners.
- Commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and the community.
Preferred Attributes:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
- Passionate about supporting academic growth and student empowerment.

Escuela Popular is a community-rooted, bilingual, and bicultural family learning center that serves Pre K-12 children and adults seeking high school diplomas, with a focus on English Language Development for primarily Spanish-speaking students.
