Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, rigorous math instruction aligned with state standards and best practices.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that motivates students to excel.
  • Differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs and learning styles.
  • Utilize data to inform instruction and support student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to continuously refine instructional practices.
  • Maintain positive communication with students, families, and staff to support student success.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics or equivalent qualification.
  • Commitment to the full-time morning shift. (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Experience teaching high school mathematics preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and the community.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about supporting academic growth and student empowerment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic learning environment.
