Job Summary: This position will provide assistance to instructors teaching on-campus (and possibly online) courses.
Job Duties: A teaching assistant may be asked to complete any of the following job duties:
- Assist with attendance reporting.
- Assess completion of online quizzes.
- Review and assess assignments using a rubric designed by the instructor.
- Communicate with primary instructor about issues/concerns associated with a student’s assignment or lack of completion.
- Maintain confidentiality of ALL student materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HHP Curriculum including HLTH 264 and HLTH 265.
- Enrolled at half-time status at UW-Superior.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Canvas.
Approximate Hours/Week: 5-10
Pay Rate: $11/hour
