Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a HEMP Systems Engineer at Peterson SFB, CO. The Systems Engineer will be the key support agent for SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO.
What you will be doing:
- Review all contractor proposed designs, upgrades, project management plans, and HM/HS related documentation to ensure they meet MIL-STD and USSTRATCOM certification requirements.
- Manages and accomplish coordination activities.
- Provide Technical Documentation and Policy Support.
- Accomplish Technical Assessments/Review and Hardened Facility Modification Support.
- Support Meetings and Status Reporting.
- Provide technical assessments and reviews of contractor schedules, functionality, risks, costs, and designs and provide recommendations to the contractors for improvement.
- Perform engineering assessment of HEMP plans to include frequency authorization requests (DD Form 1494), verification test plans and reports and provide status to SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO.
- Aid contractors for issues beyond their scope to help ensure all schedule, cost, and project completion impacts are resolved.
- Carefully track services contractors Statement of Work responsibilities and progress, develop white papers, trip reports, or emails to report status and potential risks to SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO,
- Provide engineering assessments of new RF/EM test system design and development as well as other recommended systems such software tool solutions for HEMP testing.
- Analyze sustainment and upgrade programs supporting HQ USSF/HEMP hardened facilities conducted by SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO, SSC and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and provide recommendations to SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO.
What you will need:
- Experience in examining project plans and designs, HEMP technical data including frequency authorizations, test plans and reports.
- They must have experience reviewing MIL-STD and USSTRATCOM directives and applied those to HEMP HM/HS, upgrade, and construction projects.
- They must have experience interacting with SpOC SAM-D / HEMP PMO HEMP protected personnel and facilities.
- They must have acquisition experience.
- They must have experience coordinating and interfacing with SSC and AFLCMC. HEMP HM/HS, construction, or upgrade experience (5+ yrs) highly desired.
- Bachelor of Science, at least 5 years of experience for Systems Engineering, at least 8 years of experience for Senior Systems Engineer positions
- Active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000. Please note the salary information is a general guideline only.
