SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Hedging Salesperson to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, selling structured derivative products to community banks and their customers. The position may require extensive travel in the covered states. Candidates should also have experience in credit and documentation review, commercial and real estate lending, and marketing and sales. This role will require thorough and accurate legal documentation review, understanding of financial statements and spreadsheets, preparing marketing material, assessing proper loan structures, identifying exceptions to policy, and interaction with commercial lenders and borrowers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position is expected to perform the specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:
- Sell structured derivatives to community banks and their customers
- Review credit underwriting memorandums and understand loan structure, credit quality, and credit history of potential hedge customers
- Review and understand spreadsheets of borrower financial statements, and work with commercial lenders to approve hedge proposals
- Draft marketing materials for review by commercial lenders and borrowers
- Partner with commercial lenders to sell hedging solutions
- Research and analyze financial data, interpret, and prepare reports of financial position with recommendations to commercial lenders and borrowers
- Communicate closely with colleagues regarding client interaction and the sales pipelines
- Ensure the accuracy of hedge documentation and that closings are timely and accurate
- Consistently communicate directly with customers and colleagues
- Undertake special projects related to job function as determined by the senior sales team

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports., This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

Travel may be required to attend meetings, conferences and training as needed.
