The position
As a Health and Safety Partner, you will play a pivotal role in the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) area, acting as an adviser on HS requirements and standards. You will coordinate according to the Novo Nordisk Way, ISO45001, and the Novo Nordisk HS strategy, ensuring implementation of rules, legal requirements, and best practices.
You can look forward to:

  • Coordination: Implementing HS rules and requirements, including legal and strategic guidelines, in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way and ISO45001.
  • Process Improvement: Actively driving processes to enhance HS performance within the area.
  • Local HS Group: Leading the local HS process group to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Project Support: Driving and supporting the HS organization in various projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure minimum HS requirements are met.

Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • An academic degree in HS or another relevant field, with supplementary training in relevant areas.
  • Good understanding of ISO45001, as well as knowledge and experience in applying HS concepts, preferably according to GMP
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry processes and the ability to drive and support complex processes proactively.
  • Solid analytical skills and practical experience in analyzing complex business issues.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Leadership experience is an advantage.


As a person, you possess excellent communication skills, adept at managing various stakeholders with a flexible attitude. You are naturally positive, capable of handling high pressure and conflicting interests with good self-management of stress. You seek opportunities for personal development through dialogue and sparring with colleagues and managers. Your ability to motivate and engage stakeholders and develop cooperation skills will be crucial for success in this role.
About the department
API Manufacturing 4 is part of API. At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues (check the number) working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We bring value to our patients by providing the cleanest possible high-quality API made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) while constantly optimizing our processes. You will be part of API, M4 Business Support and report to the director of Business Support.
