Summary: We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Video Content Lead to elevate our video content function at Huda Beauty. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll oversee our post-production team of three editors and drive the vision for video creation across brand campaigns, social-first content, and marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with Creative, Marketing, and Social teams, you will ensure high-quality output, efficient workflows, and timely delivery of assets. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of post-production workflows, excellent time management, and proven experience in leading teams within a fast-paced content environment. Your role will include supervising post-production projects, guiding team development, streamlining operations, and maintaining creative excellence from concept to final delivery. Additionally, you will be hands-on, working on shoots, guiding technical strategy, and helping grow a scalable and talented pool of videographers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and mentor a team of three editors. 
  • Lead, plan, and manage post-production for a full slate of video projects. 
  • Create and implement processes and workflows that enable the team to work efficiently and independently. 
  • Guide team development, helping junior members grow towards independence. 
  • Oversee branded storytelling, ensuring delivery of best-in-class assets in line with brand vision. 
  • Juggle multiple high-priority post-production projects in various stages, ensuring deadlines are met. 
  • Identify workflow gaps in post-production and lead continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Develop and refine a distinctive Huda Beauty editing style - color grading, motion graphics/animation, sound design. 
  • Work closely with the Head of Agency to build efficient project tracking, workflow systems, and deadline rigor. 
  • Be a force for innovation - integrate AI or other new tools into video production where appropriate. 
  • Bring hands-on expertise in videography: lighting, cameras, equipment selection/usage. 
  • Oversee and maintain studio video equipment, ensuring it’s ready, operational, and appropriate for the vision. 
  • Maintain a network of freelancers/vendors to scale up for projects when needed. 

Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in post-production management or a closely related field. 
  • Deep understanding of all areas of postproduction: editing, color grading, VFX, sound design. 
  • Proven experience shooting and editing beauty content. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of production equipment and workflows. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once under tight deadlines. 
  • Experience working in agency, brand in-house, or post-production house environments. 
  • Prior experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports and freelancers. 
  • Proficient with editing software (Premiere Pro is required; After Effects, etc.). 
  • Technical acumen to set up, configure, and troubleshoot video, audio, lighting, and related production equipment. 
  • Excellent creativity, communication, and attention to detail. 
  • Socialfirst mindset - comfortable creating content specifically for digital/social platforms.
