Head of UX

We are looking for a Head of UX to lead user experience strategy and design across web, mobile and in-app platforms. 

Role is based in Limassol, Cyprus (relocation is provided by the company).

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the UX vision and strategy across all platform types (web, mobile, in-app), ensuring alignment with business objectives and product scalability.
• Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on quality and innovation.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency between design, engineering, and stakeholders.
• Design user-centric experiences that balance business goals with intuitive usability, focusing on key user journeys across diverse audiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX teams, product managers, and engineers to integrate UX best practices across the platform.
• Apply a full range of UX research methods - analytics, A/B testing, usability studies, player feedback - to continuously improve performance based on data.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor strategies, incorporating innovations into platform experience design.
• Present UX strategies, design proposals, and performance outcomes to leadership and stakeholders, aligning UX initiatives with product goals.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of UX design experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within the Casino, Sportsbook, or online gaming industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with dynamic gaming interfaces, betting workflows, live betting features, and user journeys.
• Background in designing complex, scalable digital platforms across mobile and web for high-traffic applications.
• Proficiency in Figma (low/high-fidelity prototyping), Miro, Confluence, Jira, and deep knowledge of design systems.
• Advanced expertise in UX research and usability testing, with a data-driven approach to improvements.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in online gaming, including responsible gaming and age verification.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
