The Team You’ll Join
Tom's Guide is a premier technology lifestyle brand. We help millions of people upgrade their lives through expert product reviews and practical guidance. Our New York editorial team creates engaging written content, dynamic long-form video, and interactive social media coverage. We combine deep product testing with audience data to guide consumers toward confident purchasing decisions every day. You'll join a creative team that connects audiences with cutting-edge consumer technology and home theatre innovations.
What you'll do
Reporting to the US Editor-in-Chief of Tom's Guide, you'll guide our TV and AV coverage from our New York hub. In this role, you'll oversee TV testing programs and collaborate closely with our Head of Video to produce engaging digital video content. You'll partner with Future Labs for product testing, Audience teams for engagement, and E-commerce teams to optimize affiliate performance. Using content management systems and web analytics, you'll track content performance and deliver creative reviews across flagship TV models.
You'll serve as a welcoming brand voice across video appearances, social channels, and written coverage. You'll write weekly reviews, comparison articles, and category newsletters while managing freelance contributors to expand our home theater coverage.
- Appear in long-form TV videos and short-form social media content.
- Write weekly TV reviews, comparison articles, and category newsletters.
- Oversee TV and AV product testing programs in New York.
- Commission and edit TV-related content from freelance writers.
- Partner with video, audience, and e-commerce teams on strategy.
- Track web analytics and adapt coverage to engage our audience.

The expected range for this role is $97,000 - $110,000
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our New York Office
