Behind the scenes, our Finance team is the engine that powers strategic growth—and now, we’re looking for a visionary Head of Treasury to take the wheel on our capital strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead the treasury function at a mission-driven, growth-stage company that's scaling fast. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing a treasury roadmap that supports everything from daily cash operations to long-term capital allocation and investment strategy. As our first Head of Treasury, you’ll shape how we manage cash, risk, investments, and stock compensation at scale, while influencing critical decisions that fuel Fullscript’s success.

What You'll Do:

• Cash & Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash flow, short-term liquidity planning, and funding strategies to ensure financial stability.
• Banking & Lending Relationships: Own and manage banking and lending relationships, negotiate credit facilities, and oversee bank account structures.
• Stock Compensation & Options Management: Administer and manage Fullscript’s stock compensation plans and employee stock options.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies for foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risk management.
• Investment Strategy: Optimize the organization’s investment portfolio in accordance with financial policies and risk tolerance.
• Debt & Capital Structure Management: Assess and recommend financing structures, debt issuance, and capital allocation strategies.
• Treasury Technology & Systems: Implement and enhance treasury management systems (TMS) for automation, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Cash Control Process: Maintain and improve cash control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and optimize working capital.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, treasury policies, and internal controls. Prepare periodic treasury reports for senior leadership.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with finance, accounting, and business units to optimize treasury functions. Provide leadership and mentorship to the treasury team.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• ~5+ years of direct treasury experience; and ~10+ years of total experience within accounting, banking or finance related roles.
• Experience within a leadership role is ideal
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CTP are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment strategies, stock compensation plans, and financial risk management.
• Experience with Canada/US cross-boarder banking
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and financial modeling tools.
• Proven ability to manage banking and lending relationships and negotiate financial agreements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
