As Head of Talent Acquisition – Americas, you will lead a team of 10-15 Talent Acquisition professionals supporting hiring across a diverse range of business functions and markets throughout the region.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping recruitment strategy, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of hiring plans across both high-volume and highly specialized talent segments. The role requires a commercially minded leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational excellence while navigating complex and competitive talent markets.
The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in agency recruitment, coupled with experience operating within a large corporate or technology environment. They will have a track record of developing innovative sourcing strategies, overcoming challenging hiring obstacles, and leading teams to deliver exceptional results in competitive talent markets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team across the Americas.
- Drive the successful delivery of recruitment strategies and hiring plans across multiple business functions and geographies.
- Partner with senior business leaders, HR teams, and workforce planning partners to understand talent requirements and build effective hiring solutions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex, niche, and business-critical positions.
- Ensure delivery against hiring targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality, diversity, compliance, and candidate experience.
- Use market intelligence, data, and recruitment insights to influence talent decisions and improve hiring outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, tools, and operational practices.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Early Careers, Internal Mobility, HR Operations, Compensation, Global Mobility, Immigration, and Onboarding teams.
- Build strong partnerships with external talent networks and recruitment partners where appropriate.
- Champion Nokia's employer brand and ensure a consistent and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience in talent acquisition within a technology-focused environment.
- Strong agency recruitment background with a proven ability to deliver difficult and hard-to-fill hiring projects.

- Leadership experience managing, coaching, or developing recruiters and team leads.
