Travel Sommelier is a boutique luxury travel company dedicated to designing and executing
highly curated itineraries that reflect each client’s individuality, enabling them to experience
distinctive destinations around the world.
The Head of Systems and Technology (“HST”) owns Travel Sommelier’s technology ecosystem
and operational infrastructure, ensuring the business operates efficiently, securely, and at a
consistently high standard. As the definitive internal authority on technology, this role leads
system strategy, adoption, integration, and optimization across the organization, working closely
with operational stakeholders to ensure systems are fully embedded in day-to-day execution.
Sitting at the intersection of travel operations and technology, the HST designs and governs the
platforms, workflows, and data architecture that power our luxury client experience to ensure
complex, high-touch travel can be delivered seamlessly and at scale. As Travel Sommelier
continues to grow, this role positions our systems to evolve ahead of the business while preserving
the quality and personalization our clients expect. This role requires both strategic foresight and
executional discipline — the ability to see where technology is going, and the ownership to
ensure our systems evolve ahead of our needs. As the company evolves, this role may expand
to include broader functional leadership aligned with the growth of our systems and operational
infrastructure.
