ABOUT THE COMPANY
EROAD is a New Zealand founded, globally listed fleet management technology company, providing GPS tracking, compliance and driver safety tools to fleet operators across New Zealand, Australia and North America, and it's looking for a Head of Global Supply Chain to own end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution as it continues to grow across its markets. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this is a senior leadership role at the heart of that growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll lead global supply chain performance across every link in the chain, from planning through to the product in the field.
- Own SIOP and supply planning across a geographically dispersed organisation
- Lead strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier management including outsourced EMS/ODM partners and international supply networks
- Drive product lifecycle management from introduction through to end of life
- Oversee inventory, warehousing, logistics and reverse logistics/refurbishment
- Hold accountability for quality across the end-to-end supply chain
- Lead direct reports and cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographies
- Drive total landed cost, working capital and contract negotiation outcomes
- Lead transformation through data, analytics, automation and AI-enabled supply chain tools
WHAT YOU NEED
We're looking for someone who brings senior supply chain leadership and genuine commercial weight to the role.
- Substantial senior leadership experience gained in a complex, global supply chain environment
- A track record leading direct reports and cross-functional teams, including teams spread across multiple geographies
- Broad experience spanning SIOP/supply planning, strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory, logistics, quality and end-to-end product lifecycle management
- Background managing outsourced electronics manufacturing, including EMS/ODM partners and international supply networks
- Sharp financial and commercial capability covering total landed cost, working capital, contract negotiation and benefits realisation
- Command of ERP, planning, analytics and supply chain systems to drive control, insight and performance
- Ready to travel internationally as required
- A relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, engineering, business or a related discipline is an advantage, as is a recognised professional certification such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP or CPSM
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation and advanced analytics in supply chain transformation is a plus

Skills Required
- Substantial senior leadership experience in a complex, global supply chain environment
- Experience leading direct reports and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
- Experience spanning SIOP and supply planning, strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory, logistics, quality, and end-to-end product lifecycle management
- Experience managing outsourced electronics manufacturing, including EMS or ODM partners and international supply networks
- Financial and commercial capability covering total landed cost, working capital, contract negotiation, and benefits realization
- Command of ERP, planning, analytics, and supply chain systems
- International travel as required
- Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related discipline
- Professional certification such as APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation, and advanced analytics in supply chain transformation
