About the Team: 

The LexisNexis Risk Solutions Client Engagement team are our face into the market, building strong business and technical relationships with our clients and partners based on expert industry expertise. You'll be joining a passionate team who are dedicated to making a difference in insurance and who are incredibly supportive of one another to ensure successful outcomes for all. 

About the Role: 

The Head of Sales Enablement is a key member of the sales leadership team, responsible for driving strategic planning, operational excellence, market intelligence and data-driven decision-making across the sales organisation. This role requires close collaboration with all sales personnel in the organisation as well as our product, analytics and marketing teams in order to ensure our people, content and messaging is aligned to market challenges. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a growing team of sales specialists who will be subject matter experts in their field and who will be responsible for sales across existing and new clients of strategically important growth areas, i.e. claims 

  • Responsible for the existing distribution partners LexisNexis have and ensure LexisNexis products and services are implemented into all relevant 3rd parties so customers can access our data easily and seamlessly into their current processes 

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Product to ensure strategic alignment across go-to-market initiatives. 

  • Be an insurance industry subject matter expert on internal and external facing collateral to ensure an accurate and targeted market message is at the heart of our engagement 

  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive advantages to drive sustainable growth. 

  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and territory planning to ensure accurate and achievable revenue targets. 

  • Analyse sales performance data and trends to inform strategic decisions and identify improvement areas. 

  • Collaborate with all areas of the organisation to enhance sales processes, playbooks, and productivity tools. 

  • Play a key role in pricing, discounting, and incentive strategy in collaboration with Product, Finance and Strategy. 

  • Define training priorities and ensure logical execution of training alongside product management for new and existing products. 

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus. 

  • Leverage data and analytical solutions to drive data-driven decision-making. 

  • Present strategic insights and recommendations to Sales and Business leadership. 

Requirements: 

  • Significant experience in general insurance, preferably personal lines  

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and/or work experience in the professional sales environment desirable 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders 

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to develop strategic plans, analyse gaps and unlock new opportunities  

  • Passion for innovation in insurance, a drive to exceed targets, upskill those around you and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, client-driven environment 

  • Proficiency with data analysis and business planning tools 

  • Ability to travel up to 20-40% of the time, including overnight stays 

  • Experience in a client-facing, consultative sales environment
