- Set and execute a unified yet locally resonant go-to-market vision for ShopBack Pay, tailored for each market while leveraging cross-country synergies, maximizing scalability, speed-to-market, and brand impact.
- Own end-to-end ShopBack Pay customer funnel across the region to drive user acquisition and retention: lead strategic planning, campaign conception and execution, content and creative development, and project management.
- Forge and cultivate strategic partnerships with leading brands and merchants, co-developing innovative B2C and B2B2C marketing campaigns that deliver quantifiable growth and category leadership.
- Orchestrate memorable omni-channel activations (both online and in physical retail) across offline, digital, in-app and CRM channels to drive awareness, user acquisition, and deep engagement across varied customer segments across various markets.
- Inspire and guide in-country marketing, design, and ops teams to deliver best-in-class in-store experiences; lead POSM strategy, rollout, and continuous optimization to amplify ShopBack’s value proposition at every consumer touchpoint.
- Lead regional marketing budget ownership, optimizing spend allocation and channel mix using robust ROI analysis; champion a performance-driven culture by leveraging real-time campaign analytics and attribution modeling.
- Establish and monitor rigorous campaign measurement frameworks; drive continuous improvement and rapid experimentation by sharing actionable, data-backed insights and best practices regionally.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture, facilitating alignment and communication between local and central functions (commercial, BD, product, creative, CRM, performance marketing, analytics, engineering, and ops).
- Stay constantly ahead of regional and global industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor dynamics; proactively recommend and seize new revenue, product, or channel opportunities with agility and foresight.
- Serve as an ambassador for ShopBack, confidently communicating strategies, insights, and results to stakeholders at all levels—internally and externally, across cultures and functions.
Essentials to Succeed
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, partnerships with proven regional or global scope in payments, O2O, e-commerce, fintech, or platform-led ecosystems.
- Experience with leadership of multi-country teams and key transformative projects. Natural mentor with the presence and influence to galvanize buy-in across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
- Stellar track record in developing and implementing impactful marketing strategies leading to consistent user growth, increased market share, and top-tier user retention and engagement.
- Expert in making data-driven decisions, with clear campaign measurement, attribution, experimentation, and ability to turn insights into strategies and executional wins.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record of consumer marketing messaging. Can distill complex ideas for C-suite, inspire external partners, and rally cross-functional teams.
- Deep expertise in both digital and retail activation; comfortable innovating from first principles and deploying hands-on execution in ambiguous or nascent market conditions.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and resilient: flourishes in fast paced environments and enjoys the challenge of building and scaling novel high-impact solutions efficiently.
- Cultural fluency across APAC, with strong judgment and emotional intelligence to navigate and unify diverse markets and teams.
- Willingness to travel (average 2–3 times per quarter or as needed for business deliverables)
- Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
