What you'll be doing
- Spearheading a portfolio of complex, high-impact strategic projects that deliver growth, transformation, and measurable outcomes
- Establishing and leading a high-performing centralised Project Management Office (PMO), embedding consistent tools, standards, and governance frameworks
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic oversight of programmes and portfolios
- Building organisation-wide project delivery capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensuring risk, compliance, and governance standards are met across all programmes
- Engaging stakeholders at all levels – from operational teams to the Board – to secure alignment and impact
- Championing innovation, process improvement, and change adoption across all water services businesses
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in senior project and programme leadership roles
- Expertise in managing large, complex, cross-functional programmes -ideally within utilities or regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of both agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
- Experience in organisational transformation, process improvement and PMO leadership
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project certifications (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desirable)
- Highly developed interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills with the ability to drive change at pace
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
