American Turbines is designing small modular gas turbines, purpose-built for distributed power generation. Machines designed from a blank sheet to be manufactured at scale, clustered in arrays. Hundreds of units operating in parallel, dynamically matching load like a compute cluster matches demand. About the RoleThe Head of Project Development will put our machines on the ground. Sites, gas, permits, interconnect: everything between a signed order and a machine running at a customer site is yours.
You will identify and qualify sites, negotiate gas supply, run the permitting process with state and local agencies, and set deployment timelines with customers. You will define the standard development process so each site is faster than the last.
What We're Looking ForExperience developing power projects: gas generation, gensets, solar and storage, or data center sites. You have taken at least one project from site acquisition through permitting to commissioning.
Working knowledge of air permitting for gas-fired equipment at the state and local level. Texas experience strongly preferred. Direct experience negotiating with landowners, gas suppliers, utilities, and permitting authorities.
You manage schedule aggressively and run workstreams in parallel.
Skills Required
