The Role

The Head of Product plays a critical role in driving the success of the company's product offerings by effectively managing the product life cycle, aligning strategies with business goals, and delivering value to customers.
This is a hybrid position in Greenville, SC. You must be located in or willing to relocate to the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

Supervisory Duties

  • Lead, inspire, develop, and grow the Product team fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Prioritize work and resources based on company needs, team budget, and overlapping deadlines
  • Oversee the presentation of all final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables
  • Hire, train and develop team members towards successful performance in their roles
  • Resolve employee issues and disputes, partnering with the HR team when necessary

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:

  • Develop and implement the overall product strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research, understand customer needs, and identify opportunities for product improvements or innovations
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the key features, enhancements, and milestones for the all product
  • Serve as a strategic guide for the development team and stakeholders
  • Work closely with various teams such as marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product development process
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to execution and delivery. Define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the backlog
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of the product(s) by establishing quality standards, conducting testing, and gathering feedback from users to iterate and improve
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats in the market landscape. Adjust product strategies and plans accordingly
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers, to communicate product vision, progress, and impact
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success and performance of the product(s) against business objectives. Analyze data and feedback to drive continuous improvement

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3 years experience in product role preferred 
  • 5 years of experience in management role preferred 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs as required to engage with Product
