Get to know the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Product to lead our PayCore products. You will aim to improve payment and cash-out flows while also enhancing reliability & cost efficiency of all funds flow for Grab across Southeast Asia. You will improve the development and improvement of our payments infrastructure, ensuring seamless transactions for Grab's consumers (both domestic and travellers), and driver and merchant partners. You will be reporting to Head of Product, GFin

Workplace Type: The role will be onsite and based in the Bangalore office.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

  • Strategy Development: Implement a comprehensive product strategy to enhance payment reliability and efficiency across Southeast Asia and beyond.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Lead efforts to innovate and improve the existing payments ecosystem, addressing regional challenges and aligning with global standards.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development teams to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and drive product enhancements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Qualifications

The Essential Skills You Will Need:

Over 10 years experience in a senior product leadership role within payments, FinTech, or related industries.

Experience with the Southeast Asian payments landscape, including its unique opportunities and challenges.

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and product improvements in complex and evolving environments.

Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with an emphasis on inclusivity and collaboration.

Experience thriving in a dynamic setting while maintaining a focus on meaningful impact.

Knowledge of international payment systems and cross-border transactions.
