About the Role:
As Head of Product Design, you'll lead UI/UX product strategy and drive innovative, user-centric experiences across Extend’s portfolio. This hands-on role leverages your expertise in crafting elegant designs while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver world-class user experiences. You’ll own and drive the conceptualization, modeling, design and execution while managing a small product design team in a fast-paced, startup environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and own product design vision, strategy and execution from concept to production
- Translate UX vision into actionable strategies and deliverables using data, user feedback and research to inform design decisions
- Build alongside product designers from research to wireframing, prototyping and implementation
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure feasibility and high-quality execution
- Establish and maintain design systems for consistency while ensuring brand identity is reflected in product design
- Mentor and lead a team of product designers while fostering a strong design culture within the organization
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of proven, hands-on experience building world-class user experiences
- 3+ years experience mentoring and developing a team of product designers
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI experiences in SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, and/or consumer goods
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions
- Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, communication, with a track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results
Expected Pay Range: $220,000 - $250,000 per year salaried*
* The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
