What you will be doing 

• Shape procurement strategy — Design the 24-month roadmap and operating model that aligns with business OKRs and enables teams to move fast while maintaining compliance and risk management 
• Drive category excellence — Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations with deep expertise in Technology/SaaS, plus broader oversight of Marketing, Professional Services, and Operations with sharp TCO analysis 
• Build supplier partnerships — Establish segmentation and relationship management that goes beyond cost—focusing on performance, innovation, and business resilience 
• Modernize systems and processes — Implement and optimize P2P, CLM, and eSourcing platforms with ERP integration while creating guided buying experiences that scale with minimal friction 
• Own the numbers — Deliver spend analytics, benefits tracking, and renewal management that prevents value leakage and demonstrates real impact 
• Scale the team — Hire and develop high-performing procurement professionals who embrace ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning 

What we are looking for 

• 10+ years in procurement with 5+ years leading teams, ideally in high-growth or regulated environments where speed and precision both matter 
• Deep category expertise in Technology/SaaS plus experience in Marketing, Professional Services, or Operations 
• Systems and process builder — Track record implementing procurement operating models, policies, and technology that enable scale 
• Commercial expertise — Expert negotiator comfortable with complex terms, SLAs, benchmarking, and transition planning 
• Data-driven approach — Advanced Excel/BI skills with hands-on experience in P2P/eSourcing/CLM and ERP integration 
• Growth mindset — Someone who thrives on learning by doing, takes ownership of outcomes, and collaborates without ego in a fast-moving environment 

What Success Looks Like 

Within 6 months, you'll have: 

• Made procurement a strategic enabler — Stakeholders see you as a trusted partner, not a bottleneck, with clear visibility into spend and supplier performance that drives better decisions 

• Built systems that scale — Core platforms are optimized and standardized processes are reducing cycle times by 30%+, freeing teams to focus on higher-value work 

• Delivered tangible wins — Early savings and contract improvements are visible to leadership, with robust tracking showing measurable impact on cost, risk, and service quality 

By 12 months, you'll have: 

• Shifted from reactive to proactive — 80%+ of spend is under active management with strategic category plans, and your renewal pipeline prevents last-minute scrambles 

• Become a competitive advantage — Consistently delivering 3-5% savings while improving service levels, with stakeholders engaging procurement early in their planning 

• Created organizational capability — Your team operates independently using established playbooks, while stakeholders can self-serve routine needs through guided buying
