Overview of Role
We are seeking a highly motivated senior Sales / Account Manager to support and grow our Private Bank distribution business in Hong Kong. This role is instrumental in expanding our Private Bank franchise by deepening strategic relationships with key stakeholders including fund selectors, investment advisors, discretionary portfolio managers, and relationship managers.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management
- Grow and maintain existing client relationships by understanding each private bank’s business model, investment needs, and distribution priorities.
- Build trusted partnerships with:
- Fund Selectors
- Investment Advisors
- Discretionary Portfolio Managers
- Relationship Managers
Distribution & Product Engagement
- Support and drive fund distribution through:
- Product briefings and ongoing fund updates
- High-impact presentations with clear solution positioning and value propositions
- RM training sessions and capability-building initiatives
- Participation in client events, investment forums, and bank-led activities
Internal Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner closely with investment, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless client engagement and execution.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to enhance client penetration, share-of-wallet, and brand visibility in Private Banks.
- Maintain disciplined follow-ups, timely reporting, and accurate CRM updates.
Skills & Behaviours Required
- 10+ years of relevant experience in:
- Asset management distribution, or
- Private banking / wealth management (investment or fund sales roles)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the maturity to manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to communicate and present complex investment ideas clearly and confidently.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Highly self-driven with strong organisation, execution discipline, and the ability to work independently.
- Existing relationships with Hong Kong private banks.
- CFA / CAIA or equivalent professional qualifications
- Mandarin language proficiency to support Mandarin-speaking partner coverage.
- A collaborative mindset and strong team orientation.
