To achieve our mission, we are looking for bar-raisers with a hands-on mindset who are eager to help shape the future of entertainment!
Ready to be part of the experience?

Now, let’s discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever’s mission.

Location: Madrid

The Team

Fever's data team is actively engaged in building and running end-to-end systems that manage and optimise prices across the platform: defining price structures, setting initial prices, running adaptive pricing control loops, assigning tiers with AI, and providing the tooling commercial teams use to request and understand price changes. The engine is live and evolving, and thousands of pricing decisions run through it every day, across everything we sell, owned and partner-operated alike.

The foundation is built; the opportunity is what we build on top of it: Fever intends to be the leading platform for pricing concerts, exhibitions, live sports, game centres, theme parks and whatever comes next.

You will bring the pricing expertise and own the product vision to get us there: what a good pricing solution consists of in each of those sectors, what we build to deliver it, and in what order. You will be working day to day with data science, engineering and the business teams to make it happen.

The role

We are looking for a pricing domain expert: someone to take pricing management at Fever to the next level, both in business optimisation excellence and in coverage across live entertainment sectors that require bespoke solutions.

This is a builder role rather than an advisory one. You will decide which pricing approaches travel across sectors and which have to be built from scratch, which capabilities are simply table stakes we need to get right, and where we can go further than anyone else has. Your expertise sets the direction and picks the building blocks we are going to use; the team turns them into the models, experiments, and optimisation that run at scale.

Few pricing roles span this much variety. A concert, a museum, a theme park and a football match each come with their own economics, their own objectives, and their own constraints. There is no off-the-shelf playbook for a live music show the way there is for a hotel room or an airline seat. Writing that playbook and driving optimisation across diverse domains is the job.

What you will do:

  • Own the pricing solutions vision and roadmap that make Fever the leading platform for pricing across live entertainment sectors and types of experience
  • Define the portfolio of pricing solutions each sector needs — the price structures, the levers, the algorithms — and when each one applies
  • Extend pricing into the sectors and experiences we are starting to cover, with a repeatable way to approach each one: what we optimise for, the constraints we work within, and how those trade-offs get agreed with the business owners
  • Be the reference point on pricing for commercial, partnerships and marketing, and the person who can explain a pricing strategy to critical stakeholders
  • Work closely with data science on the fundamental questions of demand and elasticity behind pricing: bringing the domain knowledge that decides which approaches to try, the depth to challenge how a model is built, and the judgement to say whether the answers hold up in the real business
  • Shape how we experiment with price — what we test, how we measure it, how we read results when clean comparisons are not possible, and what has to be true before a change goes live
  • Set the standard for transparency and fairness in how we price, working with legal and commercial in an area where we would rather lead than follow

Who you are

  • You have deep expertise in pricing or revenue optimisation in a consumer business, with a track record of decisions that produced successful outcomes you were accountable for
  • You have real analytical depth: you know the main families of pricing approaches — elasticity estimation, demand forecasting, constrained optimisation, bandits, causal methods — well enough to choose between them, you can read an estimate critically, and you can tell a robust result from a fragile one
  • You have shaped pricing products or solutions, not just used them: deciding what they should do, and getting them built
  • You have priced across more than one business model, product type or market, and you have the judgement to decide what can be adapted and what has to be rebuilt
  • You understand that pricing is empirical and are fluent in experimentation: what a test can and cannot prove, and what evidence should be enough to change a price
  • You can hold a position under commercial pressure, and explain a pricing strategy to people who did not design it

Nice to have:

  • Experience pricing perishable inventory — events, travel, hospitality, attractions or similar
  • Hands-on technical and scientific experience to interrogate and answer key business optimisation pricing questions
  • Exposure to consumer pricing transparency and fairness regulation
Benefits & Perks
  • Bonus linked to performance
  • Stock options
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences
  • Flexible hybrid model
  • Health insurance and flexible compensation options via Cobee
  • English classes
  • Gympass membership
  • Salary advance via Payflow

What We Do

Fever is the leading global tech-enabled entertainment discovery platform with a clear mission: to inspire through live entertainment. Our mobile-first marketplace allows both discovery/inspiration and seamless 2-click booking. Fever has also created a media network where our online communities can look for inspiration and local information (Secret Media Network owner of media outlets like Secret NYC, Secret London or Madrid Secreto among others). Fever and its Secret Media Network inspires over 60 million people every month to discover the best experiences in their cities. The preferences expressed by these communities allow us to create new experiences, which we call “Fever Originals”. These are proprietary experiences in which we follow a data-driven content creation strategy, using analytics to understand audiences, develop and optimize new formats. Some successful examples include the “Candlelight Concert Series” attended by over 3 million guests, the Los Angeles based “Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience” co-produced with Netflix, or the “Mad Hatter G&T Party”, all launched in multiple cities across the world. Fever is a US company with a team of over 800 people, currently present in more than 80 cities, with offices in many exciting cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, or Sydney, and is backed by leading institutional investors, including Rakuten Capital, Accel, and Atresmedia among others. In order to pursue this objective we are looking for bar-raisers, people that want to work hard, have fun, and make history with us. Available for iOS and Android.
