IBBX Wireless Energy is at the forefront of developing breakthrough technology that delivers wireless electricity. The company has created and patented protocols that allow energy harvesting from electromagnetic waves; IBBX also produces an integrated circuit that executes such harvesting. Our first product is the IBBX Retina Suite for industry 4.0, a set of sensors that feed from the machine’s (wasted) electromagnetic energy, and they just work – no cable, no battery replacement. They also happen to speak a proprietary wireless data protocol that is optimized for long distances, ideal for large industrial and agricultural environments. It may seem a bit too techie, we know, but all this is to explain why our Retina Suite has a line of clients waiting to acquire it, an example of how successful we can be in the near future.

Role Overview:
As the Head of People at IBBX, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and driving our people strategy to support our ambitious growth. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can build, refine, and evolve our People function across talent acquisition, performance management, career development, and culture. The ideal candidate will be passionate about establishing scalable HR processes, fostering an inclusive and high-performing environment, and ensuring our team grows in alignment with the company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition

    • Develop and implement a strategic plan for attracting world-class talent across all levels and disciplines, with a particular emphasis on technical and specialized roles.

    • Build and maintain an employer brand that resonates with top-tier candidates, enabling IBBX to deliver its vision of eliminating cables and reducing batteries in the world.

  2. Culture Development

    • Champion IBBX’s values of high efficiency, respect, direct communication and diversity, and actively promote these through all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

    • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented company culture that scales with the organization.

  3. Performance Management

    • Design and implement tools and processes that facilitate transparent, data-driven performance management, helping employees achieve their full potential.

    • Develop strategies for continuous feedback, goal setting, and performance review that align with company goals and support career growth.

  4. Career Development & Growth

    • Lead the development of career paths and ladders across IBBX’s core functions, providing clear progression and growth opportunities for employees.

    • Implement learning and development initiatives that equip employees with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

  5. HR Infrastructure

    • Establish and refine core HR processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our values.

    • Implement HR technology and systems that support data-driven decision-making and enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.

  • A track record of building and scaling HR processes in high-growth environments.

  • Solid experience in leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, culture-building, and leadership development.

  • Strong understanding of employment law and best practices for creating an inclusive and compliant workplace.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
