In this role, you will...
- Employee Lifecycle: Design and implement comprehensive people programs that embody our core values. Create exceptional onboarding experiences that rapidly integrate new talent, develop meaningful retention strategies, and build respectful offboarding processes that maintain positive relationships with alumni.
- Employee Experience: Execute quality performance management processes. Proactively run employee satisfaction surveys to further strengthen employee engagement. Provide responsive employee support, serving as a trusted resource for team members at all levels.
- Talent Acquisition: Build efficient and scalable talent acquisition processes to attract exceptional team members who thrive in our entrepreneurial environment. Conduct regular compensation analyses as needed to ensure we remain competitive.
- Payroll & Benefits: Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all jurisdictions. Design and manage competitive benefits programs, managing vendor relationships and optimizing offerings based on team needs.
- HR Operations: Implement and maintain efficient HR systems and processes that scale with our growth. Oversee HRIS administration, maintain accurate employee records, and leverage data analytics to inform people decisions and measure program effectiveness.
- Compliance & Employee Relations: Work with legal counsel on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all markets we operate in.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs based on business goals. Develop protocols for business continuity during transitions, ensuring team resilience during unexpected challenges.
- Leadership: Lead and develop a People Ops Administrator while building a scalable people function. Collaborate with leaders to provide career mentorship and manage training program budgets with clear impact.
About you:
- 6+ years in HR for tech startups
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or Business with relevant certifications, e.g. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR
- Proven experience supporting globally-distributed or fractional teams
- Strong experience managing HRIS, PEO, and ATS platforms– Experience with Charthop, Lever, Remote, and Rippling are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
