Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead our Operational strategy and drive efficiency across all teams. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our operational framework, optimizing processes, and ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality service to our clients. In this function, you work with all our teams: Creation, Strategy, Data, Media, Production, Content, Digital, Client Teams, Finance and HR.

Your Key Responsibilities:

This is our bucket list, but we will not be disappointed if we cannot thick all the boxes in the end. All our experts have different backgrounds, which help them shape their day-to-day, that will not be any different in your case.

  1. Operational Excellence & Efficiency:
    • Lead and optimize operational infrastructure across all teams: Creation, Strategy, Data, Media, Production, Content, Digital, Finance, HR.
    • Develop and implement workflow improvements to boost productivity.
    • Organize regular status meetings with Heads of Teams to stay updated on agency activities.
  2. People Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Building close relationship with the people in the agency and strong connections with the Heads of Teams and the Board of Management.
    • Serve as a dedicated, motivating, and enthusiastic coach to the team; you show excellent leadership.
    • Partner with HR to support hiring and decision-making for cross-team setups, including BeNeLux expansion.
  3. Internal and external Communication & Collaboration:
    • Oversee internal and external communication strategies, together with our PR & content team.
    • Ensure the agency's website and intranet are up-to-date.
    • Organize quarterly agency presentations and monthly updates.
  4. Partnership & Resource Management:
    • Manage partnerships with external partners and identify new opportunities.
    • Oversee internal budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and focus.
  5. Strategic Contribution:
    • Serve as a member of the Expert Board, representing operational insights.
    • Partner with all teams in successful project execution and value delivery.
    • You will report directly to the Chief Transformation Officer.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

  • You have 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the advertising or marketing industry.
  • You have a proven track record of leading teams, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and using data-driven and people-driven decision-making.
  • You are proficient in Dutch, French, and English, both in reading and writing.
  • You understand how a 360-degree agency operates, covering areas such as Creation, Strategy, Data, Media, Production, Content, and Digital.
  • You are comfortable representing the Belgian office within an international group and have the ability to localize and implement tools and decisions effectively.
