Job Purpose
The Head of Operations of Next Level Prayers (NLP) provides overall strategic leadership, operational direction, and spiritual oversight for NLP, HICC's daily prayer platform (6:30 am to 7:30 am WAT, Monday to Friday). The role is accountable for the effective delivery of daily prayer services, ministry growth and discipleship outcomes, production and streaming quality, marketing and digital reach, and operational excellence across all NLP functional units, in line with HICC's mission of raising a generation given to prayer.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership and Vision:
• Provide overall strategic direction for NLP in line with HICC's mission and organizational objectives.
• Develop and drive the quarterly and annual NLP events calendar and strategic plan, including leaders training, regional events, special events, discipleship courses, outreaches, and staff training.
• Represent NLP within HICC's leadership structure and champion its growth across all campuses, including Lekki, Gbagada, Anthony, Magodo, Ibadan, Abuja, Alimosho, Ikorodu, Yaba, London, and Ikeja GRA.
2. Daily Prayers and Programming Oversight:
• Oversee daily prayer program readiness, including approval of the weekly minister list, testimonies, and announcements ahead of broadcast.
• Ensure programming quality standards are met for streaming start time, dry runs, and facility and hall readiness.
• Oversee planning and execution of special events, leaders training, regional events, and discipleship courses.
3. Ministry Growth: Reach, Engagement, Assimilation and Discipleship:
• Drive community engagement and leadership development across zonal coordinators, area leaders, and cell leaders.
• Oversee the Next Steps and Assimilation process to convert new contacts into engaged community members.
• Set and monitor growth targets for campus attendance, community attendance, cell meetings and attendance, leader recruitment, and discipleship course registration and completion.
4. Production, Streaming and Technical Oversight:
• Oversee the Production, Streaming, and Sound teams to ensure high-quality live production, including video, sound, graphics, and lyrics display.
• Ensure post-production deliverables, including weekly awareness videos and daily declaration videos, are completed on schedule.
• Work with IT to ensure the technical infrastructure supports streaming, database, and reporting systems.
5. Marketing and Digital Engagement:
• Oversee the Digital Marketing, Communication, and Customer Service functions to drive reach, lead generation, and brand visibility.
• Set and track targets for reach, leads generated, email open rate, WhatsApp channel growth, and social media engagement and mentions.
• Oversee campaign planning across digital, radio, TV, and out-of-home channels.
6. Operations, Finance and Resource Management:
• Oversee NLP budgeting, ensuring monthly budget approvals and requisition management are completed in advance of set deadlines.
• Approve monthly staff scheduling and resource allocation across all NLP units.
• Oversee the Resources unit to ensure functional teams are adequately equipped.
7. Monitoring, Reporting and Database Management:
• Ensure timely and accurate weekly reporting from all functional units, including the PB's report, staff report, testimony library report, and event report.
• Oversee database management for leaders, workers, testifiers, cell members, leads, and next steps records.
• Drive continuous process improvement, targeting at least one measurable improvement initiative per month.
8. Team Leadership and People Management:
• Lead, supervise, and develop NLP staff and volunteer teams across Operations, Ministry, Communities, Marketing, Production, Sound, and Customer Service units.
• Conduct performance monitoring, coaching, and staff engagement initiatives, including training programs and satisfaction feedback.
9. Testimonies and Stewardship:
• Oversee the collection, verification, and stewardship of the testimony library, covering both online and campus testimonies



Requirements
Person Specification:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Bible college training and credentials are recognized as equivalent to a first degree, in line with HICC policy.
Experience
  • Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in ministry leadership, church operations, or program and operations management, including at least three years in a senior leadership or directorial capacity.
  •  Demonstrated experience overseeing multi-functional teams spanning production, marketing, operations, and ministry growth.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong strategic and operational leadership capability.
  • Excellent people management, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven ministry management, including KPI tracking and reporting
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, and live production
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder management ability
  • Sound budgeting and resource management skills.

Working Conditions
This role is based in Lagos and requires early morning daily engagement in line with the NLP broadcast schedule, together with oversight responsibilities across multiple HICC campuses and locations. The role may require flexibility for weekend and evening ministry events and programs.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
