Job/Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Head of Media Sales (d/f/m) to lead our advertising sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital media sales, strong existing relationships with key agencies and clients in the German market, and in-depth knowledge of programmatic display advertising and data-driven solutions. A commitment to promoting sustainable digital advertising practices is desired.
Job Description
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals
- Set and oversee financial goals in cooperation with the sales analytics team
- Establish Kleinanzeigen as a relevant media player by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with top agencies and direct clients
- Drive adoption of our media and advertising solution including programmatic display and data products
- Collaborate with business development, product and tech teams to enhance our advertising offerings
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital media sales, ideally with a focus on programmatic display
- Proven experience of leadership and sales team management
- Established network of contacts within major media agencies and advertisers in Germany
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising technologies and data-driven targeting
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce (CRM tool) desired
- Strong Knowledge of sustainable digital advertising practices and industry trends including Retail Media desired
- Business proficiency in English and German
