The Role:
As our first marketing hire, you will be responsible for building and executing a marketing strategy from the ground up. You’ll have a broad scope, spanning brand positioning, content marketing, demand generation, and customer education. You’ll work closely with our founders, sales, and product teams to create a compelling narrative that differentiates Gitar.ai in a crowded market.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and adoption of Gitar.ai
- Establish our brand positioning and messaging to clearly articulate our value proposition
- Create and manage content marketing efforts, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership
- Experiment with different demand generation tactics (SEO, paid ads, partnerships, events, etc.) to identify what works
- Build and scale a pipeline of high-quality leads through targeted campaigns and outbound efforts
- Develop marketing assets that support sales, including decks, one-pagers, and customer stories
- Hire and manage external freelancers, agencies, or future team members as needed
- Own and optimize our website, ensuring it effectively communicates our product and converts visitors
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with a focus on developer tools or enterprise software
- Experience building a marketing function from scratch or working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong storytelling skills—you can craft compelling narratives that resonate with technical and business audiences
- Hands-on experience with demand generation, content marketing, and growth strategies
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and optimize marketing performance
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to experiment and iterate quickly
