About this Role
As we prepare to launch a new version of our protocol, the Reserve Index Protocol, we are seeking a visionary and action-oriented Head of Marketing to lead our go-to-market strategy. You’ll work directly with our CEO and team leads (Growth, Creative, Community, Product) to come up with wild ideas, bring them to life, and define how we talk about this new product.
Key Responsibilities
- Kick Off Creative Campaigns: Dream up and launch off-the-wall marketing campaigns that get the crypto world talking. Test growth hacks, go viral, and never settle for the same old playbook.
- Own the Whole Funnel: From the first time someone hears about us to the moment they become a die-hard fan, you’ll make sure every part of the journey is smooth, clever, and sets us apart. This will be especially important with the upcoming launch of the Reserve Index Protocol.
- Team Up with Everyone: Work side-by-side with Growth, Creative, Community, and Product folks to turn big ideas into reality. You’ll rally the troops and move fast.
- Iterate Like Crazy: Try something, learn fast, and try something else. Keep the hits and ditch the misses—just keep moving.
- Shape the Strategy: Bring your own strategic perspective to the table. Help us refine our brand, spot emerging trends, and stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience (3-5 Years): You’ve got a few years under your belt in marketing, growth, or a related role, ideally in crypto, DeFi, or a similarly cutting-edge space.
- Track Record of Creativity: Show us you’ve pulled off some killer marketing stunts. Whether it’s a growth hack, a guerrilla campaign, or a completely fresh idea that really made waves, we want to hear about it.
- Crypto Know-How: You get the different corners of the crypto world—DeFi, meme coins, DeSci, etc.—and understand how users think and behave here. Not from crypto? Convince us that your background is just as exciting and relevant.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re a self-starter who thinks big and acts quickly. You spot opportunities, work with limited structure, and bring ideas to life.
- High-Energy, Always On: We need someone who moves fast and gets stuff done. Less talking, more doing.
Bonus Points:
- Well-Networked: Bonus points if you have established relationships in the crypto ecosystem or a personal following.
- Remote & Flexible: Work from wherever, though being near Eastern Time (± 3 hours) is a nice plus.
- Growth Hacking and Automation: Familiarity with growth hacking tools and experience building or managing marketing automation workflows a plus.
Compensation
Total compensation will be competitive and in the range of approximately $180,000 to $280,000, dependent on experience and market benchmarks.

Reserve’s mission is to Increase adoption of & expand access to sustainable, inflation proof, stable currency.
Reserve is a free, permissionless platform on Ethereum mainnet to build, deploy and govern asset-backed currencies referred to as “RTokens.” RTokens are always 1:1 asset-backed, allowing for permissionless minting and redeeming on-chain by users without the need for any middlemen. Overcollateralization is provided by RSR governance token stakers. Each RToken can have an entirely different governance system and is governed separately by ecosystem stakers.
