Head of Investment Content
The Head of Investment Content will be working with Vanguard’s investment leaders to distill our unique point of view on market dynamics & investment strategy and bring that voice to financial advisors through high profile thought leadership programs.
The role will oversee the development, execution, and delivery of content across digital channels and industry events — seeking to help define Vanguard's investment voice in the marketplace and build platforms that advisors and media turn to over time. They should have a strong background in financial services, particularly asset management, or other highly technical category. They should also possess excellent leadership skills to manage and inspire a team of content creators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the firm's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with investment teams to ensure content accelerates enterprise strategies.
- Manage a team of content creators, including strategist, analysts, technical writers, designers, and videographers
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and tailored to our target audience.
- Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve effectiveness.
- Imbedded in industry trends and best practices to ensure Vanguard leads in
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 10 years of experience in content development creating notable thought leadership platforms (preferably in financial services)
- Deep understanding of emerging trends in digital communications, including the role of AI to improve the accuracy and speed of content development
- Strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to partner with senior leaders across marketing, sales, and investment teams
- Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools.
