Key Activities
Finance Operations – India legal entity for Tech services
Lead Finance Operations – Full scope including India GAP and IFRS; Team management; local Director; Company secretary related compliance
Country Controlling
Cost, Revenue, local guidelines, Internal controls, Process controls – India perspective
Treasury Management
Banking, Working capital management & Forex Management/compliance for India
Compliance and Taxation in India
Direct and Indirect taxes (Income/corporate Tax, GST, PT etc)- Handling tax matters, tax assessments and litigation, Transfer pricing.
Compliance with SEZ
Corporate laws and secretarial compliance
Business /operations support:
Part of local Leadership team, support Operations
Payroll Structure & payroll Tax
Teaming with HR operations for Payroll support, Optimising the payroll structure and keeping up to date as per changing tax rules
Key competences:
- International experience:
- Chartered accountant with experience in international company at leadership position of Finance department
- Skilled in interactions with different stakeholders across units, regions and groups.
- Long term experience in Finance Operations:
- Finance and Accounting (Indian GAAP, IFRS)
- Auditing and internal controls, statutory compliances
- Direct & Indirect Tax: Tax management, Tax assessments, Tax planning, Tax appeals Compliance with STPI, SEZ
- Transfer Pricing
- Treasury:
- Cashflow Management, RBI compliance , Vendor credit management
- Compliance & Legal
- Corporate laws compliance
- Responsibility as Local Director with related compliances and administration
- Business Support:
- Provide key financial decision support for senior management from both finance and business viewpoints.
- Team management:
- Management and development of local Finance employees
- Languages:
- Excellent English skills
