About Tiny Health

Tiny Health is advancing lifelong health, from the first 1,000 days to the last, and addressing chronic disease through precision microbiome science. Founded in 2020 and built by microbiome scientists and physicians, our testing platform reveals whether your microbiome is trending toward resilience or imbalances using shotgun metagenomics, proprietary AI, and one of the world's largest longitudinal datasets. The Opportunity

As Head of Healthcare Provider (HCP) Sales, you will own and scale Tiny Health’s practitioner channel and lead an established sales team that partners with clinicians and clinics to bring precision microbiome testing into everyday patient care. You’re inheriting a small sales team and a motion with real traction (we grew almost 400% last year); and your mandate is to turn that momentum into a predictable, repeatable, high-growth revenue engine.

This role will build the playbook, systems, and coaching culture that let the team consistently hit and exceed targets, tighten the funnel from first conversation to activated account, and expand relationships into recurring, embedded testing within a practice. You’ll set territory design, comp plans, and KPIs, and instrument the funnel so every decision is data-driven.

We are looking for a builder-operator: a sales leader who has scaled a team selling into individual healthcare practitioners and clinics, who leads with high EQ, fluency in data, and a bias for action. You are energized by a mission to make the microbiome a cornerstone of personalized health, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, remote-first environment. This position reports directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the number: Carry and deliver the HCP revenue target; forecast accurately and manage pipeline health and coverage across the team.

  • Lead and grow the team: Manage, hire, onboard, and coach the existing HCP sales team; set clear performance standards and develop reps who consistently exceed quota.

  • Codify a repeatable playbook: Refine and document the end-to-end motion, including prospecting, discovery, demo, onboarding, and expansion, so results are coachable and repeatable, not dependent on individual heroics.

  • Deepen segment penetration: Grow share across priority practitioner segments such as: functional and integrative medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, fertility, dietitians and nutritionists, and concierge and longevity clinics.

  • Build the expansion motion: Turn first orders into embedded, recurring testing within a practice, increasing retention and account value over time.

  • Partner with Marketing: Co-own a reliable, high-quality pipeline and a tight lead-to-close feedback loop that continuously improves conversion.

  • Bridge to Product, Science, and Clinical: Translate practitioner needs and objections into product, program, and enablement improvements.

  • Own the commercial systems: Design and manage the CRM hygiene, comp plans, territories, and KPIs; instrument the funnel end to end.

  • Represent Tiny Health: Serve as executive sponsor for strategic practitioner accounts and represent the company at key conferences and industry events

QualificationsRequired
  • 10+ years in sales, including 5+ years leading and scaling sales teams, ideally in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or digital health

  • Proven track record selling into healthcare providers, clinics, or practices, with a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Demonstrated success scaling an existing team and a repeatable sales motion

  • Strong people-leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing reps and improving win rates

  • Fluency with sales analytics, forecasting, CRM discipline, and modern sales tooling

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and asynchronously

Preferred
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Work experience in DTC health/wellness companies

  • Experience working remotely, with proficiency in Slack

  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity

How we work
  • A mission that actually pulls people in
We make the microbiome measurable and actionable at every life stage, and real people write in to say it's life-changing.

  • Remote-first, real overlap
Our FTEs are based in North America and work core hours from 9am–6pm CST, shiftable by up to two hours either way — start at 7am or 11am, wrap at 4pm or 8pm.

  • Written first, huddle second, meet last
Default to a clear Slack post, huddle when a thread stalls, and meet only to make a real decision.

  • Fast, but never sloppy
Do the two-month thing in two weeks, then check the work—shipping errors is rework, not speed.

  • Shape what we build, not just how we build it
There's no playbook waiting for you, so write it—and bring the alternative, not just the objection.

  • Day One mentality
Fewer titles and layers; process is a guardrail where it counts, never the reason something didn't ship.

  • No hidden agendas
Numbers, misses, and feedback are shared openly and in real time, so you always know where you stand.

  • High standards, genuinely fun people
Take the work seriously and ourselves much less—high-performing and fun to be around is the hiring bar.

  • Is this pace for you?
Venture-scaled and on a steep trajectory, with intensity in spikes, fiercely protected flexibility, and faster growth than anywhere else.

Our Values
  1. Learn Fast, Get Better - Find the root cause, not just the fix, and get better every time

  2. Be Relentlessly Resourceful - Dig for the answer, move fast, and know when to ask for help

  3. Act Like an Owner, Be Hungry to Win - Act like it’s your company, and do whatever it takes to win

  4. Act with Honesty and Empathy - Say what’s true, and say it with care

  5. Delight People by Anticipating Their Needs - Solve the problem, then get two steps ahead of it

What We Do

Tiny Health is the first science-based platform that profiles a mother and baby's microbiomes in the first 1,000 days that is a critical window for the infant's lifelong health. Unfortunately, certain diets, lifestyles and medical interventions (while life-saving) have unintended consequences by disrupting the natural colonization of an infant's gut microbiome in early life. This potentially contributes to chronic diseases such as eczema, food allergies, asthma, type I diabetes, and obesity later in life, which affects hundreds of millions of people globally. Using at-home test kits, next generation sequencing, a proprietary knowledge base, and AI technology, we provide key insights during this critical period when the microbiome is developing rapidly and highlight risk factors linked to microbial imbalances. We generate personalized, actionable recommendations, and early interventions to hopefully prevent health issues linked to infant gut development and give the child the best possible start in life.
