Anyscale is growing its finance team as we are on a journey to build a best-in-class durable software business! We're looking for a Head of FP&A to lead the strategic planning process to partner with the business across a variety of strategic initiatives and be a part of the building team finance. As part of this role you will:
- Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support long-term growth initiatives, partnerships, and other business opportunities
- Fundraising: Support capital raising efforts by preparing financial projections and investor presentations and engaging with potential investors and stakeholders
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to guide decision-making and ensure financial stability
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Cost Management: Monitor and control expenditures to optimize resource allocation and capital efficiency
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, strategy, and operations, to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
- Reporting: Preparing regular financial reports and presentations for the executive team, board of directors, and investors to keep them informed of the company’s financial status and progress
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 8+ years of progressive corporate finance experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and investment analysis
- Consumption experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and financial performance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide clear, actionable recommendation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
