The Role

Pandas is growing rapidly and transitioning core financial operations from an outsourced model to an internal one. We are looking for a strategic and proactive Head of Finance to take ownership of our financial function, to support the company’s continued growth.This is a hands-on leadership role with full visibility across the organization. You will be responsible for strategic financial planning, internal controls, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations. The Head of Finance reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning and Reporting

• Own the company’s annual budget and long-term financial planning
• Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making
• Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for investors and board members
• Collaborate with the Data & BI team to ensure accurate and timely dashboards
• Utilize AI-driven forecasting tools to enhance budget accuracy and identify trends

2. Cash, Treasury, and Capital Structure

• Build and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts
• Manage and plan collections
• Manage treasury operations, including liquidity planning and cash optimization
• Monitor burn rate and runway in coordination with executive leadership
• Oversee internal cap table tracking and support equity-related activities such as stock option grants, investor updates, and funding round preparation

3. Governance, Risk, and Compliance

• Design and implement internal financial controls and processes
• Ensure tax, payroll, and regulatory compliance in coordination with external advisors
• Serve as the internal liaison for financially-relevant legal and contractual matters
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies, as well as managing vendor contractual relationships

4. Systems and Process Optimization

• Evaluate and implement AI-powered finance tools for invoice processing, expense management, and financial consolidation
• Ensure consistency, visibility and integrity of data across financial systems
  

5. Day-to-Day Financial Operations

• Oversee payroll execution and employee reimbursements
• Manage invoice payments, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
• Support cross-functional teams on finance-related matters as needed

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s or CPA/ACCA a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Greek tax, payroll, and accounting standards, equivalent knowledge in UK legislation is a plus
• Experience in startups or scale-ups with lean finance teams
• Familiarity with AI-powered finance tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies to increase efficiency and insight quality
  
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong ownership mindset
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and the investor community
