Relai is Europe’s leading Bitcoin-only app and we’re looking for a Head of Finance to help limit risks related to our proprietary trading model, act as finance controller, and help develop Relai through its phase of rapid expansion.
This role blends proprietary trading operations, risk management, and finance quality assurance - perfect for someone who’s hands-on, diligent, and thrives in growth-stage FinTech environments.
What You’ll Do- Lead our proprietary trading operations
- Optimize execution speed, rebalancing, and risk controls
- Build QA systems to monitor trade accuracy and limit risks in edge cases
- Ensure compliance with MiCA and internal capital/risk policies
- Oversee financial controlling for Relai’s entities
- 5+ years in proprietary trading, ideally in Bitcoin or high-frequency environments
- Deep understanding of risk management in trading operations
- Familiarity with MiCA and compliance is a plus
- FinTech or scale-up experience preferred
- Exceptional diligence, detail orientation and precision
- Proactive attitude, identifying and addressing financial needs of the business
