In this role you will serve as an economic advisor, offering strategic decision support and budget management for Site Services and all G&A functions (e.g., P&C, Legal, Diversity Office) and overseeing financial planning for North American Benefits. You will provide economic insight to Genentech’s CFO and CEO on financial and policy matters affecting Site Operations and G&A.
The Opportunity:

You will guide key decisions on capital projects, campus strategy, and site services in alignment with business goals. Lead financial strategy for Genentech Site Capital Plan; Advise Genentech CEO and CFO on policy and financial matters related to Site and G&A functions.

You will drive finance deliverables, including monthly/quarterly close, budget, headcount, annual operating expense, depreciation, and capital investments. In addition, you will provide decision support for target setting and budget management across G&A functions and Site Services.

You will lead and foster a collaborative finance and G&A team environment, communicating financial insights across all levels.

You will lead projects across Roche / Genentech

You will ensure efficient processes for budget setting, target management, and variance analysis, continuously identifying improvement opportunities.
Who you are :
-
You will bring 10+ years in Finance as a business partner along with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field

You will be a strategic and innovative thinker with proven problem-solving abilities; experienced in managing complex finance projects, adept at influencing senior management and implementing process efficiencies.

Your familiarity with financial analytics tools; experience in digital finance transformation is a plus.

You will have exceptional presentation skills and have the ability to distill complex information for varied audiences.

You will have experience managing team members, coaching and developing individuals in a global matrixed organization

Biotech / Pharma experience or previous experiences in Site services / G&A finance roles preferred
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $186,400 and $412,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
