Head of Finance (Miami)

Location: Miami, FL - in-office 4 days per week

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 annual

Extenteam is an AI-driven operations platform for short-term rental property managers. We automate guest communication and daily workflows with human-in-the-loop support, currently serving 50,000+ properties.

About the Role: We're looking for a Head of Finance to lead our finance team and own all financial operations as we continue to scale. You'll work closely with the founder and Head of Ops, and be responsible for financial planning, reporting, cash management, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team
• Own financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and analysis
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships
• Support fundraising efforts and investor reporting
• Develop and maintain financial models
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives
• Build and improve financial processes and controls as we scale
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• Management experience - you'll be leading the finance team
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
• Automation mindset - you look for ways to eliminate manual work
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up processes
• Ability to work independently and own the function end-to-end
• Strong communication skills - can translate numbers into insights for non-finance stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with Runway or Fathom
• CPA or MBA
• Experience in SaaS or marketplace businesses
• Experience with international payroll or contractors
• Prior experience supporting fundraising
