The role will work closely with IIX’s Research, Government Advisory, and Innovative Finance teams to help corporates develop Orange Bond issuance strategies, while ensuring ESG readiness, robust impact frameworks, and reporting using IIX’s proprietary platforms—IIX Values™ (impact verification) and IIX Intelligence™ (data analytics). This is a client-facing, business-building leadership position requiring an established

network, deep expertise in ESG and sustainable finance, and strong capabilities in building new revenue streams from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Drive business development and revenue growth across key markets: Indonesia, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.

Leverage personal networks to initiate and secure corporate partnerships and long-term sustainability mandates.

Develop advisory solutions integrating Orange Bond readiness, impact measurement, and ESG strategy.

2. Corporate SDG Strategy & Sustainable Finance

Translate corporate ESG and sustainability commitments into measurable SDG-aligned actions.

Design innovative financing mechanisms such as sustainability-linked loans, supplier financing programs, and outcome-based grants.

Prepare clients for emerging ESG and climate and sustainability reporting standards.

Lead corporate clients through the full impact lifecycle of Orange Bonds™, focusing on embedding robust impact frameworks, monitoring systems, and reporting mechanisms throughout the process.

Pre-Issuance Impact Readiness

Lead the impact-focused pre-issuance work by conducting in-depth ESG and gender-lens diagnostics for corporate issuers and their supply chains. This includes mapping bond proceeds to SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 13 (Climate Action), national SDG roadmaps, and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Develop tailored Impact Frameworks and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) matrices aligned with Orange Bond Principles, IFC Performance Standards, and relevant green/social bond guidelines.

Collaborate closely with IIX’s Innovative Finance team, which leads transaction structuring and oversees external review processes such as Second-Party Opinions (SPOs) and credit ratings, to ensure alignment between financial structuring and impact commitments.

Utilize aggregated Orange Bond™ impact data to advise regulators, exchanges, and policymakers on sustainable finance frameworks and taxonomy evolution. Publish thematic insights and thought leadership pieces to inform policy development and spotlight corporate leadership in advancing gender equality and climate resilience.
