Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership for the Bank's enterprise
applications portfolio, ensuring availability, performance, integration,
security, and continuous enhancement of all business-critical applications,
including Core Banking, Digital Banking, Cards, Payments, Treasury, Risk, and
ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and execute enterprise application strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee
application lifecycle management, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Drive
integration initiatives across enterprise systems and digital platforms.
- Manage
vendors, support partners, and application teams.
- Ensure
application availability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Lead
digital transformation and application modernization initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering,
Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master's
Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related
discipline will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum
of 8 years' relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a
leadership role managing enterprise applications within Banking, FinTech,
Telecommunications, or a large corporate institution.
Professional Certifications
- ITIL
- PMP/Prince2
- Oracle,
Microsoft, Temenos, Finacle, or relevant application certifications
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications
- ITIL certification
