Help us build the future of real-time retail execution

At Neurolabs, we’re helping the world’s leading CPG brands unlock real-time visibility in retail. Our Image Recognition technology is powered by synthetic data and digital twins, giving customers scalable, accurate insights — fast. No manual audits. No delays. No retraining. Just immediate visibility into what’s actually happening in-store.

We’ve built our platform to solve real field problems. From faster SKU onboarding to better promo execution, we work across teams to connect strategy with shelf reality. With easy integration and the fastest time to value in the category, we’re not just digitising audits - we’re powering smarter, data-backed execution for global CPGs.

We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our technical team and drive the successful delivery of AI projects from concept to production. You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership experience, and product focus to scale our AI systems into robust, reliable, and impactful solutions. This is a role for someone who thrives on building high-performing teams, making key architectural decisions, and staying close enough to the technology to guide and inspire others.

    • Partner with Data Science and Research to operationalize models with best-in-class MLOps practices.
  • Enable Team Success & Growth
    • Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team (ML engineers, MLOps, data, infra).
    • Build rhythms for delivery, code review, sprint planning, and accountability.
  • Collaborate Across the Business
    • Align engineering efforts with product, infrastructure, and commercial teams for seamless integration.
    • Translate technical complexity into clear value for stakeholders.
  • Stay Hands-on When Needed
    • Step into architecture design, model iteration, and performance optimization as needed.

  • Strong expertise in computer vision, particularly neural networks and transformer architectures.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI-centric products into production at scale, using cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, mobile development systems, and data pipelines.
  • Experience using synthetic data for training Visual AI models.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in adjacent AI domains such as 3D reconstruction, Gaussian splatting, or NeRF.
  • Background in startups or high-growth companies.
  • Experience delivering mobile applications with on-device AI model deployment.

How you work

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

What We Do

Neurolabs is the "go-to" Computer Vision vendor for the CPG space, with access to a product catalogue of >100K SKUs.

We develop algorithms to visually interpret and understand the grocery & CPG world. Using images from cameras, our Synthetic Computer Vision (SCV) models accurately identify and classify objects of interest, helping computers “understand” what they “see”.

Our technology is universally applicable across the CPG lifecycle. We help our partners automate CPG object recognition tasks in physical stores, logistic centres or manufacturing plants.

Our approach substitutes the expensive and rare real-world data required to train Deep Learning algorithms, with synthetically generated data to provide massive low-cost data sets in a fraction of time.

Our technology empowers both small and large customers to implement state-of-the-art CV applications with minimal incremental resources and costs — no coding required, no tedious data labelling, no image gathering.
