The Head, Energy Storage Solution Management will play a pivotal role in leading the development, implementation and management of energy storage solutions within our renewable energy projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of energy storage technologies, project management skills and a passion for driving positive change in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for energy storage solutions in alignment with the company's overall renewable energy goals;
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end project management of energy storage initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to drive successful project delivery.
Technology Evaluation and Integration:
- Assess and evaluate emerging energy storage technologies, providing recommendations on their feasibility and integration into existing and future projects;
- Work closely with R&D teams to facilitate the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies into energy storage solutions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors;
- Ensure that all projects comply with local, national, and international regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and industry associations;
- Represent the company in industry forums and conferences to enhance its profile in the energy storage sector.
Develop Standard, Processes and Templates:
- Establish and implement procurement standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across all procurement activities;
- Continuously improve procurement practices to align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field;
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a leadership role within the renewable energy or energy storage industry;
- Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, market dynamics, and project development;
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery;
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
