The Role

About the Role

We are looking for a senior marketing leader who is passionate about digital, social, and AI – and who is ready to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.  In this role, you will own the digital and social media agenda for our North America business and serve as the single, accountable leader for digital, social, and AI-powered activation in the region. You will act as a cross-functional “force multiplier” across channel, digital, and end-customer marketing, helping teams move faster on their top priorities and translate strategy into measurable impact.  You will also lead regional AI marketing initiatives and may take on holistic ownership of video marketing as an integrated part of our campaigns and go‑to‑market programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the regional digital and social media strategy, aligned with global brand direction and regional commercial priorities.
  • Lead planning and execution of always‑on and campaign-based digital programs across paid, owned, and earned channels (website, paid media, social, email, marketing automation, etc.).
  • Set clear performance targets (e.g., reach, engagement, leads, pipeline influence, conversion) and continuously optimize based on data and insights.
  • Serve as the single accountable owner for digital, social, and AI activation in the region, ensuring a consistent, compelling brand presence across all digital touchpoints.
  • Lead AI-related marketing initiatives for the region, from idea and proof of concept through to scaled deployment.
  • Identify, test, and implement AI tools and workflows that improve content creation, personalization, media optimization, insights/analytics, and marketing operations efficiency.
  • Personally build, test, and iterate AI use cases, role‑modeling a hands‑on, experimental mindset.
  • Act as a cross-functional “force multiplier” and strategic partner to channel and end‑customer marketing teams, translating business priorities into digital and social programs that drive growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Channel, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to design integrated campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and adoption.
  • Proactively identify synergies and remove execution bottlenecks so teams can move faster on high‑impact initiatives.
  • Potentially assume leadership of video marketing as a holistic, integrated capability across the customer journey (e.g., brand, product, customer stories, partner enablement, and social‑first content).
  • Provide strategic direction, creative guidance, and performance management for video initiatives, ensuring they are tightly integrated into digital, social, and campaign plans.
  • Establish and own KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to communicate impact and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and document best practices and playbooks for digital, social, AI, and video marketing and share them across the region.
  • Lead and/or coordinate a small team and/or a virtual network of specialists and agency partners, with clear roles, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with brand, regulatory, and data privacy standards, in close collaboration with global, legal, and IT/AI governance.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, SaaS, or enterprise solutions; experience with channel‑driven go‑to‑market models is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record owning and scaling digital and social media programs with measurable commercial impact.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI in marketing (e.g., generative AI for content, AI‑based optimization or personalization, predictive tools) and comfort experimenting with new tools and workflows.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, combined with a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” approach to execution.
  • Proven success working cross‑functionally with Sales, Channel, and Product Marketing, influencing without direct authority.
  • Experience leading or partnering closely on video content strategy and production is highly desirable.
  • Data-driven mindset and proficiency with marketing analytics, testing/optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and create alignment across diverse stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12–18 months, success in this role will be evidenced by:

  • A clear, data‑backed digital and social strategy in place and executed, with measurable improvements in reach, engagement, lead volume/quality, and pipeline influence.
  • Several high‑impact AI marketing use cases tested and scaled, delivering tangible efficiency gains and/or performance uplift.
  • Strong feedback from channel and end‑customer marketing leaders on partnership quality, speed, and impact.
  • A more coherent, strategic approach to video marketing that is fully integrated into our campaigns and go‑to‑market programs.
  • Recognition as the go‑to expert and accountable owner for digital, social, and AI activation in the region.
