We’re looking for a Head of Data to lead our growing data team and turn data into a key driver of business impact. You’ll set the vision, build scalable foundations, and work closely with teams across product, growth, engineering, and operations. This is a leadership role with deep product and commercial exposure.

• Define and lead Calo’s data strategy across all business lines
• Manage a cross-functional team of analysts, scientists, and engineers
• Build and scale data processes, infrastructure, and tooling.
• Partner with product and business teams to drive growth, efficiency, and better decisions
• Establish clear, consistent metrics and support experimentation
• Champion a data-driven culture and raise data fluency across the company

• Experience leading cross-functional data teams across analytics, data science, and data engineering.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence product, growth, and executive teams
• Solid grasp of data fundamentals (SQL, data modeling, metric definitions, even if not hands-on daily)
• Strong planning and process mindset; able to scale systems, not just outputs
• Commercially aware—understands how data impacts GTM, retention, and unit economics
• Familiarity with modern data tools like mixpanel, metabase, dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Looker

• Experience in high-growth startups or scaling early-stage data functions
• Background in top consumer tech products
• A personal passion for food, health, or wellness
