Who are we?

aleios is redefining Cloud, the Serverless way. Our focus is building state-of-the-art Serverless solutions and creating autonomous teams for our clients, with an emphasis on skills building and training through delivery.

Our work varies from helping startups build their initial MVP, to aiding large organisations scale globally; most recently having completed the digital transformation of one of Europe’s largest airlines. 

With offices in London and Cape Town and a current headcount of 23, this is a great opportunity to join an exciting Serverless Scale-Up, who have a strong partnership with AWS (Advanced Tier Partners), to own and manage our content as we continue to grow. aleios is part of the Theodo Group which has founded 11 companies with specialties in Web/Mobile, Serverless Cloud, DevOps, HealthTech and FinTech. 

What we want

The mission of this role is to create compelling marketing and sales collateral, including White Papers, blog articles, data sheets and proposals. In addition, building the strategy to support our sales go-to market. You will be reporting into Ben Ellerby, our CEO, and working with our RevOps team (consisting of a Partnerships Manager and Lead Generation Specialist). If of interest, this role could lead to managing aleios's entire marketing strategy. 

The Role 

 - Own and optimize blog strategy to encourage repeat readership and drive organic traffic growth.

 - Partner with internal marketing and sales team to identify and prioritise opportunities, including creating new content, updating existing content, technical optimisations, and pruning. 

 - Creation of White Papers as part of content creation

 - Ensure all new content meets quality standards and brand guidelines.

 - Optimise social media presence to drive content consumption and grow our audiences exponentially.

 - Work with technical staff to help them produce compelling content, and expand their renown

 - Edit content for clarity

 - Measure and report on organic traffic and leads, repeat readership, and social media engagement.

 - Calendarise company's content strategy 

What we are looking for

 - Proven experience, ideally 3+ years, as a content writer or similar role

 - Someone who is happy to come into our office 2-3 days a week (we're based in Workshop 17 at the V&A Waterfront)

 - Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail

 - The ability to work independently and part of a team

 - Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

 - Preferred but not essential: have had content featured in O'Rielly, CIO, Manning, Pakt, Gartner or similar
