Can you build a content engine from scratch, not just run one someone else already built? Do you get more excited by designing the workflow than writing the sentence? Can you sit with an engineer, a delivery lead, or a client success manager for 30 minutes and walk away with three weeks of content?
Then, our AI-First Content Marketing Lead role here at CUBE84 may interest you.
In this gig,
You're the Editor-in-Chief, Not Just the Writer
You own content strategy end to end — across brand, inbound, outbound sales, customer success, and partnerships. You're not waiting for a brief; you're deciding what gets made, why, and for whom, across three business units at once. You Build the Machine, Not Just the Content
You design and run an AI-first production process — the actual workflow, tools, and prompts that let a lean team punch way above its headcount. This isn't "I use ChatGPT sometimes." This is you architecting how ideas become drafts become published assets, faster than a traditional team ever could. You're a Translator — SME Brain to Reader's Screen
You sit with our internal experts — architects, delivery leads, sales — and pull the good stuff out of their heads before it evaporates. You know how to ask the right question in a 20-minute chat and walk away with enough material for a blog, a LinkedIn post, and a sales one-pager.You Run a Tight Little Crew
You manage a small in-house team — a content writer today, more resources as we grow. You know how to direct someone else's writing without rewriting every sentence yourself, and you make a small team feel like a bigger one.You Keep the Trains Running, Every Week
You own the editorial calendar across every channel — website, blog, LinkedIn, email, sales enablement, case studies, whitepapers. Nothing "kind of" goes out. Something ships every week, on time, without you personally writing all of it.You Turn One Hour of Talk into Ten Pieces of Content
Every webinar, podcast, event, and customer conversation is a content goldmine to you, not a one-off. You oversee the execution of webinars, roundtables, and virtual events with the broader marketing team, then squeeze every one of them for clips, quotes, posts, and follow-up emails. You Know Where the Traffic Comes From
You've got working SEO knowledge — not agency-level depth, but enough to make sure what we publish is actually findable. You track what's working by engagement, traffic, and pipeline impact, and you kill what isn't instead of defending it.
It'll be awesome if you...
Have 5+ years leading B2B content marketing, ideally inside a technology, SaaS, or technical services company
Have real, hands-on experience designing and operating an AI-assisted content production workflow — not occasional AI use, but actually building the pipeline (this one's non-negotiable)
Have a track record of producing and repurposing content across multiple channels — web, blog, LinkedIn, email, sales enablement, case studies
Have managed a small in-house team, even if that's just one direct report plus freelancers
Have working SEO knowledge — keyword research, on-page basics, and connecting content to organic traffic
Are comfortable presenting content performance and strategy directly to executives and subject matter experts
Are comfortable with flexible working hours to overlap with our primarily US-based stakeholders
More awesome, if you have
Experience supporting multiple business units or product lines with one lean team
End-to-end ownership of webinar or podcast production, not just attending as a guest
Background in a consultancy or services firm rather than only product companies
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Notion, or a CMS for managing editorial workflow
