Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring that proper procedures and processes are followed when quotes are generated for clients.
- Ensuring that reviews of risk benefits are performed accurately and timeously.
- Ensuring that proper launch documentation is received from clients, and that Special Rules are signed and submitted to NAMFISA timeously.
- Developing and/or enhancing the Consulting Strategy for the Consulting Team.
- Identifying and developing new and improved customer value proposition and business model for entry into new identified/opportunities.
- Ensuring that the Client Managers have formal meetings with clients as per the Consulting Strategy.
- Attending certain formal meetings with the Consulting Team members.
- Analyzing the suitability of existing risk benefits for Orion Participating Employers and Risk only schemes.
- Providing technical product support for Sales team and Consulting Team.
- Contributing to the training and development of the Consulting Team.
- Manage the members of the Consulting Team that report to you.
- Ensuring that Orion and Protektor complies with statutory requirements and overall risk management.
- Attending and giving advice at board meetings for Orion.
- Building relationships and networks with external stakeholders and potential alliances to maximize lead identification and knowledge of market trends and best practices.
- Driving the product communication strategy for Corporate.
- Ensuring that communication, marketing and distribution strategies are in place and are aligned to existing units, initiatives including governances.
- Being responsible for the quality assurance on all the product material.
- Staying close to and position the BU Strategically for FIMA and NPF.
- Interpreting and translating national priorities & strategies into opportunities for the Corporate Segment.
- Cross-selling to existing clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Namibian Citizenship.
- B Degree in Commerce, Finance, Law or Engineering or equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
- 4 - 5 years relevant experience within the Pension/Long-Term Insurance Industry.
- CFP qualification would be an advantage.
- Product/Technical knowledge will be advantageous.
- Proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Have high business acumen.
- Be results orientated.
- Proven ability to maintain strategic focus in a busy and high-performance environment.
