Job Description

A fantastic new role is available to join our Marketing Communications team as Head of Campigns.

Whilst in this role you will have strategic responsibility for planning and delivering our annual marketing campaigns. You will lead the campaigns team to deliver the plans and outputs required across national adverting, digital campaigns and dealer marketing. Working alongside our agencies and suppliers you will ensure our creative messaging and media plans are as effective as possible.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic responsibility for developing and delivering our campaigns strategy in order to support our core KPI's.
  • Developing innovative multi-channel campaign strategies for the business-using national advertising, digital marketing and dealer marketing across our full product and finance portfolio.
  • Responsible for all marketing campaigns; delivered through insight-led data, campaign planning, robust testing plans and results analysis.
  • Overall responsibility for delivery against an optimised media plan.
  • Using insight and customer segmentation to inform media planning and to create strong customer propositions.
  • Building strong relationships across the organisation to inform your thinking and marketing practice. 
  • Leading the Campaigns team to deliver effective and efficient marketing campaigns. Ensuring work is carried out in a timely manner and to budget, compliant with brand, JSOX and financial promotions.
  • Provide marketing support to the after sales function - develop marketing campaigns to promote after sales products or initiatives.
  • Owning performance reports and coordinating campaign analyses and presenting to senior audiences.
  • Financial management and overview of all marketing campaigns budgets.
  • Managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
  • To work with GM Marketing & Communication in setting the conditions for success in terms of building compliant, agile processes and policies.

Skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Extensive senior level marketing campaign experience from retail, FMCG, finance or automotive sectors
  • Proven track record of hitting financial targets
  • Evidence of strategic planning experience
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Agency/supplier relationship management experience
  • Team leadership and development experience
  • Strong communication skills at a senior level
  • Experience of managing large budgets
  • Strong evaluation skills
